Melrose Place: Season Two DVD.

OK, so not technically a movie, but pretty awesome none the less.
Season two continues the lives of the residents of 4616 Melrose Place.
The first half of the season is very similar to season one, just a basic drama following lives of a group of twenty somethings living in LA.
Things begin to spice up with the return of Laura Leighton as Sydney Andrews, the scheming younger sister of Jane Mancini (Josie Bisset). After manipulating her now ex brother in-law Micheal Mancini into an affair Sydney's life begins to fall apart. Becoming a hooker, being arrested for solicitation, helping Micheal destroy Jane's new relationship with her divorce lawyer Robert, to blackmailing Micheal into marrying her.
And here's where things get REAL GOOD. The producers decided at this point in the series to go for gold and turn Melrose Place into the trashy show everyone loved to hate.
The plots began to take some bizarre twists, from Kimberly's supposed death (and return) after a car accident with Micheal, Jo's pregnancy to a (now also dead) ex-con boyfriend, whom she killed in self defense, to Amanda's (Heather Locklear) jealous rivalry with the annoying Alison (Courtney Thorne-Smith).
Season two kicks off what would be another 5 seasons of back stabbing, murder, revenge and multiple returns from supposed death.
Oh, and did I mention Kimberly? Brilliantly portrayed by Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives) Kimberly shows some signs of being slightly un-hinged towards the end of this season. Not that she was a bad person, unless you think framing Jane for an attempted murder, and attempting to blow up the apartment building in later seasons are bad.
Final rating?
3.5/5. Looses half a point for continuously annoying me with Courtney Thorne-Smiths atrocious hair styles!
